When waking up
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Meaning: Praise is for Allah who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the return.

Daily Duas
Seeking a good day
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ
Meaning: O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day.
Leaving home
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Meaning: In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah, and there is no power except with Allah.
Before eating
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ
Meaning: In the name of Allah.
After eating
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ
Meaning: Praise is for Allah who fed me this and provided it for me.
Before sleeping
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Meaning: In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
Before entering bathroom
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Meaning: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from evil and harmful things.
After leaving bathroom
غُفْرَانَكَ
Meaning: I ask Your forgiveness.
Entering the mosque
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Meaning: O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
Leaving the mosque
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
Meaning: O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.
Duas During and Around Prayer
After Wudu
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
Meaning: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
Asking forgiveness
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي، رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي
Meaning: My Lord, forgive me. My Lord, forgive me.
Forgiveness and peace
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ
Meaning: I seek Allah's forgiveness.
Help to remember Allah
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
Meaning: O Allah, help me remember You, thank You, and worship You well.
Sending blessings
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ
Meaning: O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad.
Personal dua
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي وَاغْفِرْ لِي وَارْحَمْنِي
Meaning: O Allah, guide me, forgive me, and have mercy on me.
While bowing
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْعَظِيمِ
Meaning: Glory is to my Lord, the Magnificent.
While prostrating
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى
Meaning: Glory is to my Lord, the Most High.
Standing after bowing
رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ
Meaning: Our Lord, to You belongs all praise.
Sending blessings
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Meaning: O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.
Guidance, Anxiety, Forgiveness, and Family
Keep my heart firm
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Meaning: O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.
Increase me in knowledge
رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Meaning: My Lord, increase me in knowledge.
Good in this life and next
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Meaning: Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the Fire.
When feeling worried
حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Meaning: Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
Comprehensive forgiveness
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ
Meaning: My Lord, forgive me and accept my repentance. You are the Accepter of repentance, the Merciful.
For parents and family
رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Meaning: My Lord, have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small.
When something is difficult
اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا
Meaning: O Allah, nothing is easy except what You make easy.
Seeking protection
اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي وَاهْدِنِي وَارْزُقْنِي
Meaning: O Allah, protect me, guide me, and provide for me.
Do not leave me to myself
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ
Meaning: O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek help.
Master prayer for forgiveness
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ
Meaning: O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant.
Short Personal Duas for New Muslims
Asking for steadiness
اللَّهُمَّ ثَبِّتْنِي عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ
Meaning: O Allah, keep me firm upon Islam.
For family understanding
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ أَهْلِي وَاشْرَحْ صُدُورَهُمْ لِلْخَيْرِ
Meaning: O Allah, guide my family and open their hearts to goodness.
For beneficial knowledge
اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَانْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي
Meaning: O Allah, teach me what benefits me and benefit me through what You teach me.

اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي طُمَأْنِينَةً وَتَوَكُّلًا عَلَيْكَ
Meaning: O Allah, place tranquility in my heart and trust in You.
